Can you remember what happened on Fear The Walking Dead last season? I couldn't until I looked at these pics of the new season which starts on AMC (not FOX) on Monday 11 April...
All I had to do was see the Johnny Depp lookalike (Nick) wearing the nappy and the first season came flooding back...
Nick, his sister Alicia, his mother Madison, her beau Travis and Daniel's family found themselves caught up in the very start of the zombie apocalypse.
As things descended into chaos, the military took over to neutralise the zombie threat and turned mad with power. Nick was captured by them and met the enigmatic Mr Strand while he was locked up.
He escaped with Strand who revealed that he has a yacht called the Abigail which they can use to escape the onslaught.
Everyone left together and headed towards the sea, which is how Season 2 starts. With everyone ready to hit the ocean for a water adventure which looks very cool.
The season was filmed in Mexico - at the
Baja Film Studios, which were first built for the filming of Titanic. The yacht looks gorge too but it isn't a vacay obviously because everyone soon discovers that the sea is as dangerous as land.
Here's what Executive Producer and Show Runner Dave Erickson has to say about what we can expect:
"I think the most intriguing question is this: ... where are the characters going to go?
"North to Vancouver or south to Cabo? This is a boat that has a really incredible range and a full tank of gas so, feasibly, they could head out across the Pacific for 3,000 miles or more and make it to Hawaii. We could even end up doing zombies in paradise! [Laughs].
"That's the intriguing question for the first few episodes of the new season: what harbor can the characters find and when they get there, will it be safe or not?
"A big theme for Season 2 of is that once we've established that the world is really gone, once we've established that there's no turning back, what kind of person will each of the characters become? Will they be able to surrender to it? Will they be devoured and consumed by the apocalypse or will they change their base nature? Can they really continue to fight against it and try to hold onto their humanity?"
If you missed the first season or want a refresh, AMC's airing a marathon this Sunday (10 April) from 21h25 up until the first screening of Season 2 which airs at 03h10 on Monday opening, minutes after it premieres in the US.
