So!... the premiere dates for the new seasons of both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead have been confirmed which means we have months of addiction to look forward to.
The second part of Season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead premieres in America on Sunday, 21 August and starts here (on AMC) on Monday, 22 August.
The seventh season of Walking Dead starts in America on Sunday, 23 October and also starts here the day after, on 24 October on FOX.
As per always, the season is divided into two: eight episodes will air this year and the final eight will air in February 2017.
And the truth about who got bludgeoned at the end of Season 6 will eventually be revealed after the bloodcurdling, atrocity committed by the arrival of the
EVIL taxman Negan.
Between the end of last season and now I've discovered who got bludgeoned in the comics and I'm not ready to accept their death so I'm hoping with all my heart that the show hasn't stuck to the comics. The only person I would be okay with is Sgt. Abraham Ford because I've always seen him as new.
FOX released the trailer for the new season at Comic Con on Friday and it doesn't give any clues as to who it could be. It does introduce a cool new character though, someone who offers the possibility of hope for our heroes after their devastating plight.
Ezekiel, played Khary Payton (best known for his voice artistry in the animated series Teen Titans and Young Justice), is a self-proclaimed king to the Kingdom: a community of survivors who are going to be introduced in the new season.
He has two brilliant characteristics:
1. In the comics he despises Negan and becomes an ally for Rick.
2. He owns a pet tiger called Shiva.
Too cute!
Here's the trailer followed by a trailer for the return of Fear the Walking Dead...
