Mapula withholds the news about the Ngcobos from Sabelo. Toolkit tells Niki about the rhino heist and she relays the idea to David. Rene is puzzled by the fact that everything is about marketing an image and not the music.
Bongi finds out about Zinzi, Lungile and the kiss. A reluctant Toolkit, under instruction from David, makes contact with Vinolia.

Rene is forced to make a choice between her studies and her music career. Toolkit pretends to still be infatuated with Vinolia. Sabelo surprises Mapula when he steps up and fights for their family.

Ntombizodwa finds out how Suffocate’s been treating Puleng. Sabelo warns Kop that he won’t allow the Ngcobos to foster the children. Bongi is outraged when she finds out about Lerato’s plans. Reneilwe is becoming more and more unsettled by Kwela’s plans.

Emmanuel gets Mapula to think about the adoption. Zinzi tells her mother to take the fight to Lerato. David and Niki pile the pressure onto Toolkit to get the info about the rhino horn. Rene is cracking under the pressure of being a star.

Bongi feels completely betrayed when Lungile sides with Lerato. Reneilwe is in a panic about her costume for the Electra photoshoot. Mapula is becoming increasingly unsure about her decision. There's a break-in at Kilowatt, which pushes Suffocate over the edge.

TK makes up his mind about Vinolia. Rene learns that Kwela is married to a famous diva. Sabelo comes through for Dumisani and the family. Bongi is called to Red for a mysterious announcement. Suffocate announces to Puleng that he is moving back in.

Toolkit might put the horn heist in jeopardy. Rene worries that she might have given Ndoni the wrong impression. Sabelo and Mapula come to a painful realisation about the future of their family.

Toolkit tells David he will run the rhino horn heist. Niki, Toolkit and David steal the rhino horn from the game farm, but are met with opposition from Vinolia. Reneilwe struggles to deal with her Dizzy Records ‘mentor’. Mapula struggles to let go of mothering her younger siblings.

Toolkit is furious with David for what he did on the game farm. Sabelo freaks out when Mapula reveals what she told the Ngcobos. Rene has huge regrets about leaving the Born Frees. Bongi is torn about whether to trust Lungile or not.

Vinolia sends the cops to arrest David and TK, but to everyone’s consternation, the horns have been stolen. Zinzi gets Bongi jogging. Palesa asks Bash out on a date.

Engelbrecht comes up empty as Vinolia changes her testimony. David is still trying to figure out what happened to the missing horns. Lungile pledges his loyalty and support to Bongi. Sabelo tries to make up for his blatant sabotage of the children's futures.

Sabelo finds support from an unlikely source. Bash and Niki suspect that David has betrayed them in the rhino horn deal, while David suspects the same of them. They all plan retribution against each other but will they find out the true fate of the horns in time?

Suffocate reveals that he knows the whereabouts of the horns and blackmails Niki and David. What Niki and TK don’t know, is that David has short-changed them. Sifiso hears about the kiss between Rene and Bash. Lungile lets Bongi in on his plan for getting back at Lerato.

Mapula is having a hard time making a decision about the children. Kwela lays down the law with Reneilwe. David is under fire once again from Roberto and Flavia. Lerato is caught on the back foot.

Dumi and Dineo announce that they have gone begging, to contribute to the household. Rene discovers that Ndoni has a cocaine habit. Suffocate flaunts his defiance in Puleng's face when he invites a woman into their home. TK saves David's hide, and manages to secure himself a place inside the meat business.

Mapula asks Kop to speak to the Ngcobos again about the kids going to live with them. Niki tries to tell TK how she feels about him. Lungile coaches Bongi on how to be strategic with Lerato.
Kop tells Mapula that the Ngcobos will have the kids again - but only on one condition. Rene finds Kwela’s advances increasingly hard to handle.

Mapula and the kids go with the Ngcobos and leave Sabelo alone. David asks Sgegede to put Flavia totally in his power. The KW club is robbed. Bash interrogates TK and discovers that Niki and TK are sweet for each other. Lungile’s plan in the fight against Lerato is taking effect.

Lungile puts pressure on Lerato to bring Bongi back to Red. Lerato's back is against the wall. Rene tries to keep Kwela's unwanted attention off her. Bash is caught on a back foot when an old friend reappears in his life - the security consultant hired by the insurance firm to help solve the recent break-ins.
David moves ahead with his plan to enslave Flavia. Niki receives advice from Jamaica to make a definite move on her love interest.

Suffo is somewhat swayed by Nox's reasoning for being back. Rene, upon hearing that Nox is back in town, realises that her ship might have sailed with Bash. David tries Sgegede's potion to enslave Flavia. Kwela shows his ruthlessness with Ndoni, which comes as a warning for Rene, too.

Puleng asks Kop if she can bring her restaurant back to the yard. Bash is deeply suspicious about Nox and her motives. Bongi manoeuvres her way back into Red management. Flavia discovers the muti under her bed. Speshil gives TK advice on romance.

Puleng realises that it will not be easy to win new customers over in the yard. Roberto and Flavia disagree over David's usefulness. Niki invites TK over for lunch at her townhouse. Rene is confronted by an irate Ndoni. Kwela challenges Rene to focus on herself. Nox sets up an ambush for potential robbery suspects, using Bash as bait.
