The winners of Season 1 haven't had time to process their millionairre win yet and already a new season has been confirmed.
M-Net has ordered a second helping of My Kitchen Rules SA, which wrapped on the channel on Sunday night (10 December).
The season was won by Bloemfontein husband and wife team Jamandi and Machiel Bekker who scored themselves a cool R1-million when they beat their fellow finalists, besties Charnell and Kerry from Johannesburg’s Weltevreden Park.
Season 2 will follow the same format as Season 1 with the same R1-million prize.
There are two phases to the competition:
Instant Restaurant
The pairs have to host the show’s other contestants as well as two celebrity chefs in their own home. They have to turn their home into an instant restaurant and cook up a three course meal.
The Kitchen Headquarters
The action continues with a series of challenges in the My Kitchen Rules South Africa (MKR) kitchen headquarters as well as in various locations around South Africa.
