Comedy created and written by Jakus Eloff which scrutinises the lives and loves of the once glorious Philosophy Department of the Central University of South Africa.
The series follows the story of Phillip Coetzee (Bennie Fourie), an idealistic, but socially awkward young professor who is thrown in at the deep end when he is appointed as Head of the Philosophy department.
To manage his eccentric colleagues, he must quickly learn how to marry his book knowledge with real people skills.
And as if this isn't enough to cope with, his antagonistic boss, Dok "Knipoog" Knoetze (Frank Opperman), truly believes there is no place for Philosophy in the modern academic world.
But not only Phillip's professional life is challenging. He has to share a house with his younger brother, Roelf (Philippus Boshoff), a career student currently busy with his fourth course in three years. He is a living example of everything Phil is not.
The series stars Bennie Fourie, Philippus Boshoff, Frank Opperman, Pierre van Pletzen, Stiaan Smith, Cintaine Schutte and Retief van der Liefde. Recurring cast members include Marie Molefe van Heerden, Corné Koegelenberg and Mila Guy, with guest appearancves by Vicky Kente, Elma Postma and Luan Jacobs, among others.
