Phil 101 is a South African television sitcom created and written by Jakus Eloff which scrutinises the lives and loves of the once glorious Philosophy Department of the Central University of South Africa.

To manage his eccentric colleagues, he must quickly learn how to marry his book knowledge with real people skills.
And as if this isn't enough to cope with, his antagonistic boss, Dok "Knipoog" Knoetze (Frank Opperman), truly believes there is no place for Philosophy in the modern academic world.
