This year the kykNET Ghoemas has one aim: to provide entertainment that is innovative and on par with the greatest international award ceremonies.
The annual awards, which honour outstanding achievement in the Afrikaans music industry, promise a "visual festival" and will feature a combination of music, graphic art, dance and performances by some of the most popular artists who entered this year's awards.
Each of the performances has a totally unique approach – from stop motion photography and interactive choreography to hip hop and contemporary dance choreography.
This year's show promises to be as diverse as the Afrikaans music landscape itself.
The Wedding Bashers Specials: With Love

A series of four standalone specials which bridge the gap between the first and second seasons of The Wedding Bashers, in which the "Bashers" turn the show concept on its head by doing the planning for four weddings themselves.
In the main series, the bashers critique various aspects of weddings, but in these specials four couples hand over the reigns to the "Bashers" for the planning of their big day.
The four specials and Season 2 of the series return with a cast that looks slightly different: two new "Bashers" with fresh perspectives join the fray as the team continues their search for the perfect South African wedding.
The Wedding Bashers Specials: With Love as well as Season 2 of The Wedding Bashers welcome the return of wedding planner extraordinaire Zavion Kotze, and party professional Denise Zimba.
The Season 1 alums are joined this year by brand new Bashers Zola Nene - South African celebrity chef and author - and former Miss South Africa Bernelee Daniell.
