Episode 1
It’s Mbali’s first day at Durban Gen and she is ready for this next chapter of her life, with Sibusiso by her side. Her world is turned upside down when a stranger saves her from danger but steals her heart.

Thabo makes a deadly discovery. A viral video disrupts the Superintendent’s world. Sibusiso surprises Mbali.

Episode 3
The Durban General staff await a site visit from the MEC but will she make it there on time? Thabo uses his intel on the superintendent to secure a permanent position as Head of Surgery and Mbali outshines Dr. Precious by catching onto a diagnosis she missed.

Episode 4
The MEC of Health’s life is on the line. Precious is forced to overlook Thabo’s behaviour. Mbali ignores Thabo’s advice and jumps at the chance to work with Lindelani, with surprising results. Meanwhile Qwabe battles to maintain control of her hospital.

Episode 5
Mbali blames herself for the death of the MEC and is looking for comfort from Lindelani, but he is too preoccupied with tracing his steps and figuring out what may have gone wrong in with the surgery.

Episode 6
Qwabe is desperate to manage the crisis while keeping her doctors, the health department and the public calm. Mbali wants Sibusiso to give her space so that she can start her life at Durban General Hospital as an intern.

Episode 7
The hospital investigation fingers a culprit in the MEC’s death and they are dealt with. Mbali struggles with her guilt. A teenager’s pregnancy creates chaos in the clinic.

Episode 8
Mbali finds out about the MEC’s autopsy. Mbali confesses but it only complicates things for her. The Dlaminis get involved in the investigation and make things even worse for Mbali.
Luthuli can’t handle things when a patient loses her baby. MacGyver is forced to carry Lulu’s friends to the hospital in the ambulance.

Lindelani and Mbali await the investigation results. Even though Mbali is not willing to stay for the outcome, Thabo and Precious are glad to not be part of the mess.
Qwabe has her own threshold towards the enquiry. Meanwhile McGuyver’s over-friendly attitude gets him in trouble.

Calvin is worried about Precious and Precious is touched. Phumeza refuses to get involved in the feud between her uncles.

Episode 18
Phumeza’s uncles bring chaos at the hospital with their constant arguing and brawling. Things come to a head when Nkabinde is forced to intervene and get to the route of the problem. Phumeza is mortified when she finds out the truth.
Meanwhile, in another ward, Mpendulo is pretending to still be in a coma because he is afraid of facing the music with his two wives. Mbali wins Lwandle’s heart.

Lindelani asks Mbali to make a choice, while Precious’ previous choices catches up with her and Mpendulo is on the run.

Mbali tries her best not to show just how disappointed she is at Sibusiso’s surprise visit and tries to manage him. Unfortunately, Sibusiso is here for more than just a visit.
Meanwhile, Lindelani has to deal with the feelings that come with falling for someone who’s already engaged.
