The story this season starts 10,000 years ago, when eagles had the power to shape-shift - but naags and naagins didn't.
When the eagles attacked the snakes to obtain Naagmani, Lord Shiva blessed the shape-shifting ability of snakes and named the first naagin to get this power Naageshwari.
She is in love with a naag named Hriday, while the prince of eagles Akesh falls in love with her, despite the enmity between their clans.
Akesh plots to attack the snakes and get Naagmani.
Meanwhile, 40 years later: Naageshwari is reincarnated as Bani, an orphan, while Hriday is reincarnated as Jay, an orphan too.
Akesh is reborn as Veeranshu, better known as Veer, who messes up Bani's friend Noor's marriage after a fight with Jay.
Bani stops him and Veer becomes madly obsessed with her, to the extent that he plans to win Bani's love and marry her.
Jay and Bani reach the Shiv temple and remember their previous births and they realise that Veer is in fact Akesh's rebirth...
In the Season 5 premiere: To save Dev's life, Brinda takes him to a mysterious temple.
Unwittingly, she walks into a trap as Vishaka and Nayantara are waiting to kill them.
Things take a shocking turn when the Queen of Snakes and Sesha arrive.

At least 69 people were killed – most shot in the back as they tried to flee a massacre that changed the course of South African history, leading to a vicious crackdown on further anti-apartheid dissent.
Fifty years on, survivors still meet to help each other cope with their enduring trauma, and the physical scars remain as vivid as their painful memories.
Although the Sharpeville massacre will forever symbolise the brutality of minority white rule, there are still many conflicting theories and unanswered questions as to what prompted the police to unleash such violence.
This documentary includes interviews with survivors and the only photographer who witnessed the massacre, along with researchers and historians who have attempted to piece together this most infamous turning point of the Apartheid era.

Genre: Superhero, Comedy-Drama, Mystery, Action
After putting a stop to 1963's doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed this godforsaken timeline once and for all.

Enter the Sparrow Academy.
Smart, stylish, and about as warm as a sea of icebergs, the Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone's concerns.
Navigating challenges, losses and surprises of their own – and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the Universe (something they may have caused) — now all they need to do is convince Dad's new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong.
Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives?
Or is this new world about to reveal more than just a hiccup in the timeline?
