Sitcom which revolves around the security company employed to look after a fictional small town, which happens to be the safest town in the country.
The show is set in a small town in South Africa called Schusterton.
And just like any town in the country, there is a security company that looks after the people living there.
There are only two problems: Schusterton is the safest town in South Africa with not much going on; and the big boss of the security company Taktiek has been arrested and sent to jail.
"Let's roll."
"On your heels."
Those are the first lines in the pilot episode of Taktiek.
The two characters, Goose (Bennie Fourie) and Willy Brown (Keeno-Lee Hector), are prepared and ready for action.
There is just one problem: they are security guards in one of the safest towns in the country – Schusterton, where nothing much ever happens.
Things take an unexpected turn when the owner of Taktiek, the small-town crook Jorrie (Deon Lotz), is arrested for a range of crimes and sent to jail.
Jorrie's ex-wife, Karen (Marion Holm), loves money more than life itself and suddenly finds herself penniless.
With nowhere to go, she arrives at Taktiek and threatens to close the business. Easier said than done though.
It soon becomes clear to her that the employees at Taktiek will do anything in their power to keep the company going.
Also part of the Taktiek team,are the twins Attie (Schalk Bezuidenhout) and Mignon (Mandri Sutherland).
Attie is in IT but dreams of joining the action team. Mignon is responsible for the answering of calls and communicating with the team.
If she could only do that a bit quicker...
James Borthwick is Venter, a grumpy war veteran who should have retired long ago but must work to make ends meet.
Melissa de Vries is Bronwyn, Willy Brown's on-off girlfriend with the sharp tongue who works at the local pub.
Things get even more complicated when Jorrie and Karen's daughter, Lisa (Leché Joubert), is left by her millionaire boyfriend, and she finds out that Taktiek was registered in her name.
Other cast members include Ludwig Binge as Arend, Lise's loaded fiancé; Donnalee Roberts; Leandie du Randt; Devonecia Swartz; Antoinette Kellerman and Andre Weideman.
Taktiek is produced by Nagvlug Films.

They call upon the designers, who come to the rescue by adding new furniture and décor elements to each of the spaces in need of saving.
The designer meets up with the client, they start their design planning, and the installation takes place.
The new spaces are revealed to the homeowner who now enjoys a spruced up and functional space.

Lerato Kganyago is the host of this reality series, which documents couples working through marital crises.
Kganyago is joined by psychologist Lindelani Magubane, as four couples whose marriages are on the verge of collapse move into a house for a month in a last-ditch attempt to stay together and find a healthier path forward - or call it quits forever.
While they are cocooned in the bubble, they are allowed contact from their trusted family members who will act as their confidants and have say over the couples' final decision.
If the intervention fails, this could spell the end of their marriages.
As host, Kganyago's role is to facilitate the round table discussions, and to engage the couples in post-mortem conversations after certain exercises and activities designed to test the individuals and their relationships.

André is accompanied by his navigator, Johan Kriek, from the plains of the immense Tankwa Karoo to the Cederberg Mountains with its towering rock formations and rock paintings.
They visit the fertile Biedouw Valley where Jan Kreef joins the group. From there they depart for the West Coast and Namakwaland to watch the flowers.
And then they brave the ravines of the Richtersveld before they cross the border further northwest to Namibia and its endless adventure roads.
