Bio
Glenn Kessler is an American screenwriter, television producer and actor who is the co-creator and executive producer of the Golden Globe award-winning drama series Damages along with his brother, Todd A. Kessler, and Daniel Zelman.
He also had a recurring role on the show as FBI agent Werner, from 2007-2009.
The three creators were nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for their work on the Damages pilot episode "Get Me A Lawyer".
Kessler began his career as a playwright and an actor in film, television, and on stage. He segued into television writing working on Michael Mann's CBS drama Robbery Homicide Division.
Since then, Kessler has created dramas for 20th Century Fox, Universal, USA, and Imagine Television.
Kessler holds a Master in Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program. He graduated with honours from Harvard University where he earned a degree in English and American Literature.
While at Harvard, he met Damages co-creator Daniel Zelman, performing in numerous productions together.
Kessler has been nominated for two Emmys and a Golden Globe Award. He resides in Brooklyn.
