Jamie Campbell Bower is an English actor best known for his role as Anthony Hope in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
He is also known for his starring role as King Arthur in the short-lived fantasy drama television series Camelot (2011), as Gellert Grindewald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and as Caius in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dwan.
He also appeared in the feature Anonymous, a political thriller about who actually wrote the plays of William Shakespeare, by award-winning director Roland Emmerich.
Bower made his film debut in Tim Burton's gothic musical Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street starring in a leading role opposite Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman and Helena Bonham Carter.
He was seen in London Boulevard from the novels of the same name by Ken Bruen, the directorial debut of William Monahan with an outstanding cast including Kiera Knightley, Colin Farrell and Ray Winstone.
He appeared as Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and returned for the final installment Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. The films include a stellar line up including Emma Thompson, Jim Broadbent and Michael Gambon.
His other film credits include Guy Ritchies's RocknRolla with Gerard Butler and Thandie Newton and Martin Koolhoven's Winter in Wartime.
Alongside his film work, Bower can be seen in a new adaptation of the cult 1960's television series The Prisoner with Hayley Atwell and Sir Ian McKellen.
In 2007, he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Douglas in the BBC's The Dinner Party.
