Michelle Bruno is a 24-year-old Education student at Edgewood Campus in Durban. Her future plans are to further her studies in the field of Educational Psychology. Her intention is to one day have her own educational psychology practice.
Her Dad is her greatest inspiration as he raised 3 young girls as a single father, and is a hard working and determined person, who has always believed that his girls were capable of achieving anything they put their minds to.
If she was to become Miss SA, she would use the title as a platform to promote the development of education, with the hope of attracting more people to this profession, as South Africa is in desperate need of more teachers.
"I know that if I win Miss South Africa there will be many duties that I will have to focus on, however, winning a competition of this calibre would give me the opportunity to make the most of my modelling career.
"I also have a passion for what I have studied and I really think that there needs to be more focus on education in this country."
