Bio
Vieslav Krystyan is a Polish-born Canadian actor best known for his recurring role as Nikolai Udinov in the action thriller television series Nikita, in 2011.
Vieslav was born and raised in Krakow, Poland. He began training his body and mind at the age of 15 when he discovered yoga. From that time forward he became passionate about literature, poetry, public speaking and theatre.
By the time he was 21 he had completed his Masters of Fine Arts at the National Theatre Academy in Krakow. He went on to work extensively in Poland in film, television, theatre and radio with internationally renowned directors.
Being an actor then was much more than a creative career; it was a vocation, a calling, being a burning torch; standing up to the imposed martial law as part of the Solidarity Movement, in the underground theatre.
With fire in his veins, Vieslav emigrated to Canada in 1986, where he promptly learned English, studied voice, Shakespeare, dialects and movement extensively and continued his work as an Actor.
Other television series he has acted in include The Border, Wonderland, Soul Food, Relic Hunter, Star Hunter, PSI Factor, Kung Fu and many more.
His film credits in Canada include The Shrine, Endless Night, Year of the Sheep, Fugitive Pieces and Darkman III.
Being no stranger to the stage, Vieslav has worked in numerous theatre productions across Canada.
