Bio
Eric Trump is the third child of Donald J. Trump and Ivana Trump and is executive vice president, real estate development and mergers and acquisitions, at The Trump Organization, Trump Tower. He is also the founder and chairman of The Eric Trump Foundation.
Trump joined The Trump Organization in 2006 after graduating with honours from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a degree in Finance and Management, and a minor in Psychology.
As Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions, Eric is actively involved in all aspects of real estate development and deal flow, both nationally and internationally. From acquisition and development to sales and marketing functions, he plays a pivotal role in Trump projects around the world.
He is also credited, with his father Donald J. Trump and siblings Donald Jr. and Ivanka, with the creation and management of Trump Hotel Collection, the hotel management company established in 2007, building on the flagship Trump International Hotel & Tower New York.
Nationally, Eric has been instrumental in the development of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, currently the 2nd tallest building in North America.
Eric also focuses on the ongoing management of Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, personally overseeing all aspects of the project, from marketing and sales to hotel operations.
Since joining the Trump Organization, Eric has been instrumental in the expansion of Trump Golf - the company's world-class portfolio of courses. Alongside his father, Donald J. Trump, Eric has worked to develop the course portfolio from six courses to 10 and has worked on extensive course and clubhouse improvements.
Eric continues to work very closely with the construction teams at all Trump National and International Golf Clubs to ensure that the courses and clubhouses are maintained.
Among the courses purchased are Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C., an 850 acre club with 3 miles of frontage on the Potomac River, Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck, Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley and Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia.
Along with his work at the Trump Organization, Eric actively pursues business ventures and opportunities on his own, including Trump Winery, formerly known as Kluge Estate and Vineyard, a manufacturer of East Coast wines. In Eric's role as president, he works in all aspects - from winemaking to marketing to distribution and sales.
Eric has appeared as a keynote speaker for international business and real estate conferences nationwide, as well as in various press outlets such CNBC, Fox, NBC, Fox Business and The New York Post.
Eric has become a prominent fixture on "Donald J. Trump's Fabulous World of Golf," which aired on The Golf Channel. He also appears regularly as a task advisor and Board Room judge on The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice.
Eric also works fervently to aid children in need, having founded The Eric Trump Foundation for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children battling life-threatening or debilitating medical conditions.
Additionally, Eric serves on the board of his preparatory boarding school, The Hill School, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
