Brooke Mueller is an American socialite and occasional actress best known for her tempestuous maarriage to actor Charlie Sheen and for her struggle with cocaine addiction.
Mueller was raised in the high society of Palm Beach, Florida. After moving to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University, she decided to pursue a career in acting and landed roles in films opposite John Travolta and Michelle Rodriguez.
Brooke starred in the independent film Strictly Sexual, ranked as one of the most watched films on Hulu. During shooting, she began dating Charlie Sheen and subsequently worked as a correspondent for the entertainment TV show Extra!, on which she interviewed such celebrities as Jennifer Garner, Charlize Theron, Josh Duhamel and many others.
She took a hiatus from Extra! when she married Charlie and started a family. In March 2009, Brooke gave birth to twin sons Max and Bob.
On 25 December, 2009, Sheen was arrested at their rented house in the ski resort of Aspen, Colorado for attacking Mueller. He was later released from jail after posting an $8,500 bond. Sheen was charged with felony menacing, as well as third-degree assault and criminal mischief.
On 2 August, 2010, Sheen pleaded guilty to misdemeanour assault as part of a plea bargain that included dismissal of the other charges against him. Sheen was sentenced to 30 days in a drug rehab centre, 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management.
Sheen filed for divorce from Mueller in November 2010. On 1 March, 2011, police removed Bob and Max from Sheen's home. The divorce was approved by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge and became effective on 2 May, 2011.
Brooke has a passion for real estate investing with an eye toward renovating high-end homes. She also appeared in the docu-reality series The World According to Paris and pursued a degree in spiritual psychology.
