Julia Taylor Ross is a Canadian actress best known for her starring role as Dr. Maggie Lin, a third year surgical resident on rotation in Hope Zion's General Surgery department, in the supernatural medical drama television series Saving Hope.
Taylor Ross was also seen performing opposite Elizabeth Olsen in the independent film The Silent House, which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.
Julia is a 2010 graduate of The New School for Drama in New York who has managed to land significant film and television roles in the U.S. and Canada, including a guest starring role on the highly rated summer series Rookie Blue for ABC/Global, the Canadian Movie Network's mini-series Blood Letting & Miraculous Cures, as well as The Republic of Doyle for CBC.
Julia was educated at University College London then moved to the USA in 2002 to study at Harvard.
While there she performed on the main stage at the prestigious American Repertory Theater in Boston, and on Cape Cod in The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow at the famous W.H.A.T. stock company.
