Bio
Ron Yuan is an American actor, voice actor, martial artist, action director, director and stunt choreographer best known to television viewers for his recurring role as hard-nosed Lt. Peter Kang in the police procedural television series Golden Boy.
Yuan's MiniFlix Films with Sony Television (SPE) co-produced three edgy graphic novel noirs (Three Bullets, Tea and Remembrance, Lollipops) in which Yuan wrote, produced and directed. His award-winning work has premiered in over 30 festivals worldwide.
He built an established career as a character actor for many years (Prison Break, Pushing Daisies, CSI:NY, 24, Entourage, Art of War, Cradle 2 the Grave, Fast and Furious) and has voice top video game campaigns for EA, Lucas Arts, Vivendi Universal and more.
Yuan also lent his expertise as Action Director for ED Brubaker's Angel of Death (Sony/SPIKE) and Sundance sensation Black Dynamite, acquired by Sony for theatrical release.
Yuan also produced and action directed the feature The Girl from the Naked Eye as well as The Latest Likely and Power (PSA) for MTV. In the past, Yuan consulted on Sony's Blood and Bone and Miramax's Ella Enchanted as well.
