Bio
Karissa Lee Staples is an American actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder best known for her starring role as Victoria Jagger, a rabid environmentalist who uses her charms to enlist other students and teachers to help her with the cause, in the television sitcom What's Up Warthogs!, from 2011-2012.
She also had a starring role as Paloma Madsen, Dani's hyper efficient, energetic and ambitious new assistant who is in transition from sorority president to high-powered businesswoman, in the third and final season of the television drama series Necessary Roughness, in 2013.
Karissa found her passion for music and theatre at the age of 14, performing throughout her state in community and professional productions.
A week before graduating from high school, she was crowned Miss Maine 2006. Competing in the 2007 Miss America pageant gave Karissa the chance to earn scholarship money for college and to perform her talent on a national level.
Within her year of service, the connections she made led her to New York City. In less than three months she booked a principal role in a feature film, became the new face of fashion designer Laura Dahl's spring collection, and was cast in an original musical, all of which helped jump-start her career in the entertainment industry.
She went on to star in the Canadian comedy series, What’s Up Warthogs! and in the final season of Necessary Roughness.
