Bio
Eric Higgins is an Irish actor best known for his recurring role as Knut Tjodolf, the half-brother of Earl Haraldson who joins the crew as the Earl's spy, in the period drama television series Vikings.
He previously appeared alongside Jonathan Rhys Myers (King Henry) as his Groom in several episodes of hit period drama The Tudors for Showtime.
He made his Abbey National Theatre debut in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest and soon after, played Hopkins in The Crucible directed by Patrick Mason, and appeared in The Burial at Thebes by Seamus Heaney.
In addition to his Abbey Theatre performances, he worked with such companies as Cahoots NI, Ouroborous, Rough Magic Seeds and Bedrock.
