Kevin Hanchard is a Canadian actor best known for his starring role as Det. Arthur Bell, a veteran detective who works alongside Beth and grows suspicious of her uncharacteristic and erratic behaviour, in the science fiction television series Orphan Black.
Hanchard, although no stranger to film and television, has made his name in the world of theatre. He has played leading roles in theatres across the nation, including several seasons at both The Shaw and Stratford Festivals and his critically acclaimed 2011 portrayal of Booth in Topdog/Underdog, garnered him one of his two Dora Mayor Moore nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Male.
Of his many television credits some include Republic of Doyle, The Firm, Blue Mountain State, Harvard Medical School, The Listener, Naturally Sadie and Metropia. His feature film work is also varied and includes High Chicago, This Beautiful City, Savage Planet, Take the Lead and Hendrix.
