Gwen Stefani is an American singer, songwriter, fashion designer and actress best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rock band No Doubt, since she was 17.
During this time she has achieved worldwide success as a performer, songwriter and recording artist selling more than 30-million albums worldwide. No Doubt's five albums have showcased her songwriting and lyrics with #1 hits such as "Don't Speak," "Just a Girl" and "Hey Baby," among others.
After the double-platinum retrospective "Singles Collection," featuring the hit "It's My Life," Stefani released two successful solo albums: "Love.Angel.Music.Baby" and "The Sweet Escape," featuring hit singles "Rich Girl," "What Are You Waiting For?" and "Hollaback Girl," a song that became the first digital download to reach platinum status.
In the fall of 2012, No Doubt released "Push and Shove," which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
In addition to her singing-songwriting career, Stefani is an accomplished designer within the fashion industry. Her first fashion line, L.A.M.B., launched in 2003, is a luxurious collection of clothing, handbags and shoes, defined by Stefani's sense of style that often features a playful juxtaposition between classic Hollywood movie star glamour and more modern street influences.
In 2005, Stefani launched cult brand Harajuku Lovers, a playful and pop art-inspired line that reflects her love of Japanese culture and fashion.
Other fashion projects include DWP (Design With Purpose), a casual yet luxurious ready-to-wear line of custom washed fabrics with hand-painted techniques that launched in February, and Gx, a line of affordably priced fashion-forward accessories that launched in March 2014.
Stefani is also actively involved in her charitable efforts, namely the EB Medical Research Foundation, Save the Children and CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange Country).
In 2014 she joined the seventh season of the reality competition television series The Voice as a judge alongside other new judge Pharrell Williams (with whom she was collaborating at the time) and returning judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
