Bio
Vincent Mofokeng is a South African journalist, content producer and television presenter best known for hosting the SABC2 game show Beter assie Bure.
Raised in Carletonville, he attended St. John's College and matriculated from Hoërskool Carletonville in 2008. He then attended the University of Pretoria where he studied Biokinetics.
Aside from doing a number of odd jobs, from working as a health and gym instructor at Carletonville Health Club to working at a library in Merafong, Vincent also volunteered for numerous jobs and causes. He was the chairman of the youth crime prevention desk at the South African Police Services, was a volunteer counsellor at Are Ageng Social Services and was a high school athletics coach.
Vincent turned towards sport writing, landing a job as sports writer and later sports editor, at the Potchefstroom Herald in 2012. He left this job in 2015 to take up a post as current affairs content producer at the SABC, later producing and appearing on programmes related to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
He is also a content producer for radio station RSG (Radio Sonder Grense) where he conducts interviews, monitors CAFF programs, writes bulletin copy, cuts sound bites from CAFF programs, follows news developments, writes and packages voice stories to produce current affairs content in line with the SABC editorial code.
In 2016 he landed his first hosting gig on the SABC2 Afrikaans-language game show Beter assie Bure (Better then the Neighbours), which began airing in February 2017.
