Bio
Steven John Ward is a South African actor, model, producer and casting director best known for his role as Nick Ribeiro in the M-Net drama series Inconceivable.
Having completed a Bachelor in Live Performance from AFDA, as well as training from several local and international coaches/classes, Steven has appeared in a number of television, theatre and film productions.
Theatre shows he has acted in include The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Barefoot in the Park, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Red Riding Hood, Aladdin, Snow White and George and the Giant Sweet Factory.
Feature films he has appeared in include Half Other, Lanturn, The White, Young Winter, Angel of the Skies, From a House on Willow Street and Triggered.
He rose to prominence in 2010 as a contestant on the first season of the SABC1 acting talent search Class Act, placing seventh overall.
Other television series he has appeared in include Cartoon Network Dance Club, Strike Back, Tempy Pushas, No Man Left Behind, Land of the Free, Queen Sono and Vagrant Queen.
Steven has also acted in numerous commercials for brands including Lee Jeans, KFC, Bakers, FNB, Coca-Cola, Phillips, Panasonic, Garnier, Gillette, Weber, Hyundai, Citroen, Mahindra, Debonairs, Jameson, Nurofen and White Giant.
In 2020 he starred in the web series Lockdown Heights, created by Ayanda Makayi.
In the same year he landed his first starring role in television when he was cast as hard-drinking construction worker and bouncer Nick Ribeiro in the M-Net drama series Inconceivable.
The series debuted on 3 September, 2020.
