Bio
Jonathan Bennett is an American actor best known for his role as Aaron Samuels in the 2004 feature film Mean Girls.
He is also known for his role as Adam 'J. R.' Chandler Jr. on the daytime soapie All My Children, from 2001-2002.
He has made guest appearances on Dad (his screen debut in 1997), The Bill, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boston Public, Smallville and Veronica Mars.
Bennett has also acted in the made-for-TV movies Eastwick (2002), 1/4life (2005) and The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning (2007), in which he plays the lead role of Bo Duke.
His other film credits are Season of Youth (2003), Lovewrecked (2005) and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005); and he has also appeared in the direct-to-video release Bachelor Party Vegas (2006).
Bennett was born in Toledo, Ohio. His first try at acting was in a play in the seventh grade while living in North Carolina. Shortly after that, he moved to Rossford, Ohio, where he attended Rossford High School.
He graduated in 1999 and went to Otterbein College, where he was a student of the theatre program. After dropping out of college he moved to New York to pursue acting.
Six months later, he was cast in All My Children.
