LisaRaye is an American actress and fashion designer best known for her role as Diana Diamond Armstrong in the film The Players Club and as Neesee James on the television sitcom All of Us, from 2003-2007.
She is also the ex-wife of Michael Misick, a former Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The daughter of a successful Chicago businessman and a modeling mother, LisRaye first blazed her own trail as a model and businesswoman. In 1998 she burst onto the Hollywood scene in a breakout role as Diamond, in Ice Cube's The Players Club.
She continued to work with notable actors such as Queen Latifah in Beauty Shop, Terrence Howard in the indie feature Love Chronicles, Omar Epps in The Wood and Mos Def in the Sundance film festival sensation Civil Brand.
LisaRaye moved to television with roles on The Parent 'Hood and In the House and was one of nine struggling actors featured on Bravo's The It Factor before she landed her starring role on the Will Smith/Jada Pinkett-Smith produced sitcom All Of Us.
After her marriage in 2006, LisaRaye went from actress to the First Lady of a tropical island. But the honeymoon soon ended in scandal and divorce.
Back in Los Angeles, LisaRaye appeared in the reality series LisaRaye: The Real McCoy as she worked to fully re-establish her acting career.
