Jenny Eclair is a Malaysian-born British comedian, actress and novelist, who in 1995 became the first female winner of the Edinburgh festival's Perrier Comedy Award.
She is characterised as a strong, aggressive, foul-mouthed, hard-drinking, chain-smoking persona in her comedy.
