Amy Hill is a Japanese-Finnish-American actress best known for her roles as Mrs. DePaulo in That's So Raven, as the babysitter Mrs. Kwan in The Cat in the Hat, and as the voice of Jasmine Lee (aka "Ah-Mah") in the animated television series The Life and Times of Juniper Lee.
She also had a recurring role as Judy Harvey, head of Human Relations for Abaddonn Industries, in the comedy-drama television series Enlightened, from 2011-2013.
She has had starring roles in the television series All-American Girl (1994-1995) and Strip Mall (2000-2001), and recurring roles in Night Court, Spider-Man, The Hughleys, The Naked Truth, My Wife And Kids, Jackie Chan Adventures, King Of The Hill, North Shore and Hot Properties.
She has had guest roles in numerous television shows, including Growing Pains, Perfect Strangers, Beverly Hills, 90210, Seinfeld, Mad About You, Friends, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Curb Your Enthusiasm, One On One, Still Standing, Frasier, Eve, Six Feet Under, Without A Trace, Desperate Housewives, and Related.
Hill has also acted in the made-for-TV movies Intimate Stranger (1992) and Twelfth Night, or What You Will (1998).
Feature films she has appeared in include Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart (her screen debut in 1985), The Big Blue (1988), Scrooged (1988), Singles (1992), Auggie Rose (2000), Pavilion of Women (2001), Max Keeble's Big Move (2001), Lilo & Stitch (2002), 50 First Dates (2004), Herbie Fully Loaded (2005), Let's Go to Prison (2006) and South of Pico (2007).
Hill is also known in the theatre world as a respected performance artist, having written and performed a number of one-woman shows, including the autobiographical trilogy of Tokyo Bound, Reunion and Beside Myself.
Amy has hazel colored eyes and she wears brown contact lenses to "appear" more Asian for her parts.
She was listed as a potential nominee on the 2004 Razzie Award nominating ballot. She was suggested in the Worst Supporting Actress category for her performance in the film The Cat in the Hat (2003), however, she failed to receive a nomination.
She has an adopted daughter, Penelope.
