Bio
Jeff Fraza is an American professional boxer best known as one of the contestants on the first two seasons of the boxing reality television show The Contender.
On the show, he was placed on the East Coast team and was the only contestant not to fight - he was diagnosed with chicken pox early in the series, allowing Peter Manfredo to return.
Jeff returned to the show for Season 2.
Quiet but certainly not shy, Jeff comes from a lineage of boxers. His grandfather and father both boxed and now everything revolves around Jeff’s career.
He is very close with his father, Norm. His dad knew when to step aside as his trainer to get Jeff the best shot and started him training with Mickey Ward.
Jeff is incredibly close with his parents and one brother and they all share the same house. His brother lives on the top level, parents in the middle, and Jeff is downstairs with Sylvia and their seven-year-old son Antonio.
His life is training and taking care of his son, Antonio, while Sylvia works night shifts at a halfway house for troubled women.
He is of the smaller boxers in the competition and is apprehensive about this. He knows that win or lose this is the best thing that has happened to his career.
