Khuselo Vutela is 26 years old, a gym instructor and call centre agent for Telkom and is from Ntuzuma in Durban. He has one daughter and lives across from his parents' house.
He holds a senior belt in Karate and likes no rules ultimate fighting. He dislikes people with attitude, not being taken seriously and not having money.
He is multilingual and speaks Xhosa, Zulu, English and Afrikaans and says that in his spare time he likes to go to the gym and watch films to see how the stunts are done.
His motto is that "nothing is impossible in the name of Jesus" and says that he does not think that he has an edge over the other contestants as he does not want to underestimate any of them.
Quote
"I entered Fear Factor because I love a challenge and I want to publicly show that nothing is impossible. I would describe myself as a thinker and I enjoy conceptualising and coming up with strategies.
"I've meditated a lot in preparation for the show in order to get my mind clear and be ready.
"My worst fear, I think, would have to be claustrophobia. I don't like small spaces. The most physical thing I've ever done is to break bricks with my fists and legs during Karate practice.
"I usually handle nervousness by embracing it. It's that nervousness that gives me my edge.
"My favourite film is the Brad Pitt epic Troy. My favourite celebrity is Jet Li.
"I do regard the show as dangerous, but that's the whole reason why I entered. I love danger!"
