Robyn Scott is a South African actress best known for her role as Jacomina van der Walt in the M-Net comedy television series Van der Walt's Fault, from April to May, 2008. It marked her first substantial television role.
She later had a starring role as psychotic school secretary Marlene Heinkel in the SABC3 sitcom Those Who Can't, in 2012.
Robyn attended the The National School of the Arts in Braamfontein and graduated from the Jhb Art Ballet Drama & Music School in 1992. She later obtained a Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama from the University of Cape Town, graduating in 1995.
She has appeared in numerous local and international television and film productions including Van der Walt's Fault, Charlie Jade, The Rose Grower, Mr. Bones, The Adventures of Sinbad, Styx, Public Enemies and Out an a Limb.
She has also achieved a number of Awards, notably the FNB VITA Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Actress for the title role in Elizabeth 1, directed by Chris Weare.
