Siyaya 2010 is a South African sporting factual television series produced by Isaac Chokoe for End Street Productions which documents the country's preparations for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, focusing on how different sectors of the population are contributing.
The series premiered on SABC2 on Wednesday 27 January 2010, at 21h35. New episodes air weekly. There are 30 half-hour episodes in the series.
Synopsis
Siyaya 2010 is a multi-sensory look at how South Africa is gearing up for the World Cup.
Not only does Siyaya 2010 shed light on how different sectors of our society are affected, but it also highlights how everyone can play a part and contribute to making this the greatest world cup ever.
Presented by comedian and actor Kenneth Nkosi, the show is intended to be a platform for all South Africans to see the World Cup as a reminder to all that this is not only their tournament, but a continental showpiece.
