Synopsis
So what can the men do to make themselves more viable candidates to women? Learn Chinese? Become incredible chefs? Write poetry?
Childhood friends Tim, Kyle and Doug are at different stages in their lives as far as women are concerned. Tim has luck in the dating world yet has trouble achieving an emotional connection, Doug can't move on from his ex-wife and Kyle is a womanizing bachelor.
As a man-team they realise that in this day and age it takes a lot more to keep a woman happy and satisfied than it used to. Today's women - like Tim's younger sister, law student Molly - are career minded and self-sufficient and don't need a man for support.
The guys know women are looking for more and that they need to keep up - which they desperately try to do by hiring the assistance of Dr Victoria Stangel - a life coach who advises them on how to turn themselves into desirable modern men.
