About the Show

Now or Never is a South African reality television series produced by Dzuguda Productions which follows South Africans who have reached a tipping point in their lives as they implement positive changes to forge new directions.

We all reach a tipping point at least once in our lives. This is the point we finally dig deep within ourselves to search for answers. This is the point when we drop every thing to pursue that elusive dream.

It's that time when we are forced to take decisions that could change our lives forever, for better or for worse. This is the point when we stop being stubborn and reach out to other people for help, advice, love, finances and prayer.

Now or Never turns the spotlight on South Africans as they institute changes in their own lives. We capture them in real time as they negotiate a way out of their own tipping points.

Change is not an event, it is a process. The series is driven by the need to answer one simple question by the participants: "What is the most important thing I would like to change about my life?"

The answer to the question ranges from simple to complex. The definition of change differs from one person to the other.

What will change mean to a young rising sports star who has just received news that his promising sports career is over due to a life threatening blood disease? How will this revelation affect the direction of his life? Will he accept the situation or challenge it?

Now or Never is produced by Dzuguda Productions. The working title of the show was "Tipping Point".

Broadcast Notes

Episodes in Season 1 were an hour in length. They were shortened to half-hour episodes from Season 2 onwards.
