Perfect Match Mzansi is a South African reality speed dating game show produced by Parental Advisory Productions and hosted by Thato Molamu in which singles get an initial two minutes to impress a partner.
Eight men and eight women meet up at a pre-selected venue, and have only two minutes to impress a potential partner, using pre-determined questions or conversation starters. Failed contestants get eliminated, while the successful hopefuls proceed to the next round.
Contestants who have advanced go on a 5-minute couples' date with a fun task within it. Finally, in the ultimate compatibility test, the remaining couples do a "kiss test" to determine lasting compatibility.
There is also a Cold Room where reserve contestants can be called upon in times of "romantic need" should a promising match crumble.
Each episode ends with the first kiss, which is the final date challenge. If sparks fly, the couple leave together; if it's a disaster they go home alone.
Perfect Match Mzansi is produced by Parental Advisory Productions. The executive producers are Lungile Radu, Thomas Gumede and Siyabonga Ngwekazi, with Nonkulu JJ Raphata serving as producer. The directors are Thomas Gumede and Nqaba Ngoyi.
