Tuiskoms (Homecoming) is a South African, Afrikaans-language comedy-drama television series which follows a woman who, after a series of misfortunes and mourning a deep loss, takes her daughter and returns to her hometown in search of a renewed sense of purpose.
Fleur (Amalia Uys) and her daughter move back to her mother's house in Wilderness, on the Cape south coast.
Down but not out for the count, Fleur relocates to restart and refocus in search of a new opportunity.
Through the town, its people and a flower shop she starts on a new journey that ultimately sets her free from her husband's death and brings her to love again.
Michelle Botes plays the role of Fleur's mother and confidante.
The cast of the romantic comedy includes Dawid Minnaar, Marvin-Lee Beukes, Edwin van der Walt, Cantona James, Armand Aucamp, Jane de Wet and Pierre van Pletzen.
Tuiskoms was created by Louis Pretorius, Sandra Vaugh and Rosalind Butler and is produced by Infinity Films.
