Queer Eye (formerly known as Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) is an American reality makeover television series created by executive producers David Collins, Michael Williams and David Metzler and produced by their production company, Scout Productions.
In each episode, the team of five gay men known collectively as the "Fab Five" perform a makeover (in the parlance of the show, a "make-better") on a person, usually a straight man, revamping his wardrobe, redecorating his home and offering advice on grooming, lifestyle and food.
The series aired in the USA on Bravo from 15 July, 2003 to 30 October, 2007. There are 100 hour-long episodes in five seasons.
Queer Eye premiered in South Africa on M-Net on Wednesday 13 October 2004, at 19h30.
