Season 2
Vixens is a South African reality television series based on the format of American shows such as Temptation Island in which six men in a relationship each spend six days in a mansion populated by six single girls, with the objective of remaining faithful to their partners while being tempted by the "vixens".
The series coincided with the rebranding of DStv's GO channel which became Vuzu on 1 July, 2009. It was originally intended to be title "Girls of the Vuzu Mansion" but the title was changed at the last minute.
Vixens premiered on Vuzu on Wednesday 1 July 2009, at 20h00. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 2 premiered on Vuzu on Wednesday 7 April 2010, at 20h00. New episodes aired weekly. There are 13 half-hour episodes in the second season.

Season 2
For weeks on end, their hot moves set television screens alight, but the sultry sirens of the anti-dating reality show Vixens will soon step aside to allow six new seductresses to show off their skills while trying to outdo each other.
The all-new season of Vixens is produced by New Vision Pictures (creators of CreamCartel).
With the new season comes a new villa and new rules with the most important one being that there will be no contact between the Vixens and the contestant's girlfriend at any stage throughout the show.
Also, the contestant's room is accessible to all Vixens and they are allowed to enter as they please. The only area that is off-limits is the contestant's decadent love den at the back of his room. A Vixen may only enter this area if she is invited by the contestant.
It's also about the kisses - any Vixen that manages to lock lips with a contestant scores a point. The Vixen that kisses the contestant first wins the "Queen V" room for the duration of the contestant's stay.
To keep all the Vixens in the running to becoming the "Queen Vixen", the contestant is required to vote for his favourite Vixen before his departure. These scores – including online viewer votes - are tallied and revealed at the "Queen Vixen" ceremony at the end of the season.
The ultimate seductress - dubbed the Queen Vixen - will walk away with R50,000 in cash and R12,500 worth of custom made jewellery.
As for the brave couples? If a contestant is unfaithful the girlfriend can still forgive her boyfriend, but they leave with nothing. Only a loyal contestant will claim R12,500 worth of jewellery.
A game is introduced on the first day of a contestant's arrival. A game is not a competition nor a challenge and no points are scored by participating in a game.
A challenge, however, is a reward based task performed by the Vixens. They compete against one another to win a dinner date and a night out with the contestant.
No points are scored by winning a challenge; however it does increase the likelihood of the winning Vixen seducing the contestant - resulting in points.
