Teen Wolf is an American supernatural teen drama television series developed by Jeff Davis and based on the 1985 film of the same name that follows Scott McCall, a high school student and social outcast that gets bitten by a werewolf then attempts to maintain a normal life, while hiding from everyone his secret life as a werewolf.
When his best friend persuades him to go into the woods one night, Scott McCall is attacked by a werewolf, in Teen Wolf.
The bite gives him strange new abilities that also complicate his life and making things even harder for Scott is his attraction to the new girl in town- who seems to be hiding a dark family secret.
Season two kicks off with Lydia missing in action. When the gang discovers her disappearing act from the hospital, the werewolves and the hunters go on a desperate search for her, and discover the scary truth of what she's become.
The series stars Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Dylan O'Brien as Stiles, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin and Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore.
Teen Wolf was developed by Jeff Davis who also serves as executive producer. Additional executive producers include Marty Adelstein, René Echevarria, Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley. Russell Mulcahy is co-executive producer. The pilot was written by Jeff Davis and Jeph Loeb & Matthew Weisman and directed by Russell Mulcahy.
The Teen Wolf series is based on a Screenplay by Jeph Loeb & Matthew Weisman. Justin Levy, Julie Schwachenwald and Anne Marie McGintee are the MTV executives in charge of production. The series is a co-production with MGM, in association with Lost Marbles Productions, Inc., First Cause, Inc. and DiGa.
