Season 2
Everwood is an American television drama series created by Greg Berlanti and set in the fictional small town of Everwood, Colorado which tells the story of Dr. Andy Brown, a widower who leaves his successful job as a top Manhattan neurosurgeon to live in Everwood, bringing his 9-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son with him.
The series originally aired in the USA on The WB from 16 September, 2002 to 5 June, 2006. There are 89 hour-long episodes in four seasons.
Everwood originally aired in South Africa on M-Net from 10 March, 2003 to 26 August, 2007. It began airing on SABC3 on 9 January, 2007. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 2 premiered on SABC3 on Sunday 28 December 2008, at 17h00. There are 22 episodes in the second season.
Season 2
Dr. Brown relocates his family to Everwood, Colorado, after his wife dies in a car accident. After a shaky start, Ephram is finally adjusting and has started dating Madison, Delia’s babysitter.
After the death of her boyfriend, Colin, Amy becomes depressed and rebellious. She moves in with her grandmother and begins a relationship with a drug-dealing Tom.
She later has a wake-up call when Tom OD’s on drugs.
Dr. Andy Brown also finds love in the form of Dr. Linda Abbott, Dr. Harold’s sister. It soon comes to an end when she is forced to close her practice due to the fact that she is HIV positive. She moves out of town and out of Andy’s life.
Madison breaks up with Ephram because she feels he is too intense for her but later discovers that she is pregnant with his baby.
Dr. Brown persuades her not to tell Ephram as he has his whole life ahead of him.
Ephram and Amy have started a relationship in the interim and even when he leaves for the summer to study at Julliard, their relationship continues to blossom.
