Nandi (Kgomotso Christopher), Leonard (Thapelo Mokoena) and Zintle (Ngele Ramulondi), are a slightly dysfunctional family with secrets that slowly creep up on them.
At the fore of these secrets is mysterious stranger Jacob (Prince Grootboom), who enters the Mahlatis' lives to avenge a wrong done to his family.
Things don't go according to plan, as Jacob unexpectedly falls for Nandi, making things complicated for everyone involved.
The story this season continues to unravel with the loss of the major figure in a criminal investigation.
