Season 5
Footballers' Wives is a British television drama series created by Maureen Chadwick and Ann McManus which surrounds the fictional Premier League Association football club Earls Park F.C., its players and their wives against the backdrop of bitchiness, back stabbing, adultery and murder.
The series aired in the UK on ITV from 8 January, 2002 to 14 April, 2006. There are 42 hour-long episodes in five seasons.
The series originally aired in South Africa on SABC3 from 13 January, 2003 to 15 January, 2007. It was rebroadcast on SABC3 in 2012. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 5 originally aired on SABC3 from 13 November, 2006 to 15 January, 2007, on Mondays at 21h00. New episodes broadcast weekly.
A rebroadcast of Season 5 premiered on SABC3 on Friday 22 March 2013, at 22h35. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are eight episodes in the fifth and final season.

The scandalous wives are back for one last time in this fifth and final series of Footballers Wives.
After losing his wife and shooting his best friend Conrad, Bruno is planning on marrying Lucy - but will she get hitched to him?
A new signing arrives at Earls Park in the form of Tremaine Gidigbi along with his supermodel girlfriend Liberty Baker who's hiding a dark secret that could ruin their relationship.
Ultimate Footballers Wife Tanya returns to the UK after her husband dies in Brazil and she instantly falls for another young footballer Paulo Bardosa.
The fact that he's already got a girlfriend who'll go to great lengths to keep her man causes a catfight between Tanya and her of epic propotions. Paulo's girlfriend is international magazine editor Eva de Wolffe, played by Joan Collins who makes a bitch-fest comeback from the '80's.
As things kick off in the first episode Amber is still grieving the death of Conrad. Convinced that his spirit cannot rest until the truth is revealed she's determined to uncover who mudered him.
Sparks hold a memorial service for Conrad and unveil a grand stand that's been renamed The Conrad Gates Memorial Stand. Everyone gathers for the showcasing and the steamy games of the wives and their men begin.
