Siende Blind

Drama series which tells the story of a psychological profiler from the South African Police Service who spends the lockdown with her husband, his son and her mother-in-law.

Before long she finds herself on a pathway with twists and turns as she revisists old cases and discovers that a serial murder is much closer then she ever thought possible.

The story of Lena Schoeman, played by Liezl de Kock, unfolds against the backdrop of her husband's family and their past.

Her mother-in-law Marinette's (Hanli Rolfes) overcompensating behaviour at the house conceals a dark secret.

Lena's husband, Roelof (Pietie Beyers), is much younger than her and moves in with his paranoid son, Henry, at his parents' house during lockdown.

As the days past, Lena gets more suspicious about her in-laws and the tension between everyone hits a peak.

At first it's all a big happy family reunion but everything isn't always as it seems... Personal relationships are put to the test and skeletons tumble out of the closet.

Siende Blind was filmed during lockdown and consists of only five actors in the cast, telling the story of the Schoemans in only four episodes.

The character of the young Henry is played by Christopher van der Westhuizen and Lena's online colleague who helps her make sense of all the murders, Ricky, is played by Keenan Arrison.

The Comey Rule

Channel: M-Net (DStv 101)
TX Time: 21h30
Genre: Drama, Miniseries

The Comey Rule

Limited series starring Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom) as former FBI Director James Comey and Brendan Gleeson (Mr. Mercedes) as President Donald J. Trump.

Based on Comey's No. 1 New York Times bestselling book A Higher Loyalty and more than a year of additional interviews with a number of key principals, The Comey Rule is an immersive, behind-the-headlines account of the historically turbulent events surrounding the 2016 presidential election and its aftermath, which divided a nation.

The Comey Rule is not a biopic of one man, but is instead the story of two powerful figures, Comey and Trump, whose strikingly different personalities, ethics and loyalties put them on a collision course.

The Comey Rule takes us on an insider's journey down the corridors of power, where decision-makers struggle to apply old norms to a dramatic new paradigm in the face of Russia's deep and unprecedented penetration into American politics, with the nation's rule of law hanging in the balance.

Each character's actions in these historic months made the careers of some, destroyed the careers of others and helped shape the incendiary political landscape we live in today.

Part 1 of the series examines the earliest days of the Russia investigation, the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails and their impact on Election Night 2016, when Donald Trump stunned the world and was elected president.

Part 2 is a virtual day-by-day account of the tempestuous relationship between Comey and Trump and the intense and chaotic first months of the Trump presidency - where allies became enemies, enemies became friends and truth depended on what side you were on.
