Season 1
A spin-off of Friends, Joey is a sitcom in which Matt LeBlanc reprises his role as the charming and still-single Joey, who has struck out on his own and moved to Hollywood, hoping to truly make it as an actor.
Joey says goodbye to a time when his friends were his family and welcomes the chance to turn his family into his friends.
After reuniting with his highly strung sister Gina (a strong and sexy hairdresser), Joey moves in with her genius 20-year-old son, graduate student Michael (Paulo Costanzo, Road Trip), who literally is a rocket scientist.
What Joey lacks in book smarts, however, he more than makes up for with his people skills, making him the best new friend his nephew could ask for.
In the pilot episode of the show Joey arrives in L.A. after his new agent offers him his choice of parts on two TV shows, and befriends his neighbour, Alex.
His nephew, Michael, wants to move in with him at his new apartment, but Joey fears that this will upset his sister.
Season 2
After failing to kick start his acting career in New York living with his Friends, Joey Tribbiani moves to LA to hit the big time...
At the end of season one, Joey was faced with a tough decision - whether or not to settled down and give up his womanising ways.
After leaving an "I Love You" hanging in the air from his girlfriend, Sara, he finds himself faced with the prospect of her moving in. But is that what he really wants?
Season two opens with Joey finally getting his big break. But in true Joey fashion, there's nothing usual about it.
There's also the problem of him waking up next to his neighbour Alex...
From Bright-San Productions and Silver and Gold Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., Joey is executive-produced by Kevin S. Bright, Scott Silveri and Shana Goldberg-Meehan.
The show's theme song is Sunny Hours by the reggae band Long Beach Dub Allstars that features Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am.
