Season 1
Human Target is an American action drama television series based loosely on the Human Target comic book character created by Len Wein and Carmine Infantino for DC Comics, which chronicles the adventures of San Francisco-based Christopher Chance, a unique private contractor, bodyguard and security expert hired to protect his clients.
Rather than taking on the target's identity himself (as in the comic book version), he protects his clients by completely integrating himself into their lives, to become the human target.
The series aired in the USA on Fox from 17 January, 2010 to 9 February, 2011. There are 25 hour-long episodes in two seasons.
The series originally aired in South Africa on M-Net and DStv's M-Net HD channel from 22 October, 2010 to 3 June, 2011. It later aired on DStv's M-Net Series channel, on SABC1 (Season 1 only) and on SABC3 (Season 2 only). See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 1
It takes a brave, selfless man to make himself a "human target" in order to save the lives of those in danger.
Based on the popular DC Comics comic book and graphic novel, Human Target is a full-throttle action drama centered on Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a unique personal security expert hired to shield those in danger from an imminent threat that cannot be solved through normal means of protection.
Making amends for his former life as a mercenary and hired assassin, Chance is focused on one thing only now: saving his clients' lives, even if it means placing himself directly in the line of fire.
Human Target is a production of Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Television.
McG, Matt Miller, Jonathan E. Steinberg, Brad Kern and Peter Johnson serve as executive producers.
