Season 1
Reed Between the Lines is an American family sitcom television series created by Kellie R. Griffin which follows a modern-day blended family as they navigate life's ups and downs with wit and humour, especially Dr. Carla Reed, a busy psychologist, wife and mom struggling to balance her job and her happy but chaotic home life.
The show is told mostly from the perspective of Carla - a busy psychologist, wife and mom struggling to balance her job and her happy but chaotic home life.
In fact, Carla's perfect world fell apart while she was in college when it comes to light that her father had a secret family.
In the first episode of the series Robin Givens plays a sex addict who seeks counsel from Carla. Subsequent episodes feature Eddie George, Romeo Miller (previously known at Lil'Romeo) and Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest (a.k.a. Metta World Peace) playing a basketball star with anger management issues.
Anna Marie Horsford (Amen, The Shield) and Melissa De Sousa (The Best Man) co-star.
Tracee Ellis Ross departed the show after the first season and three new cast members (Charlie Robinson, Michole White and Tony Rock) were added for the second season - which never made it to air.
