Season 2
The first season initially followed three male best friends navigating messy love lives, testy friendships and soaring careers.
Now converted into an anthology series, the new season tells the story of a rich stay-at-home mom who becomes an adult content creator in order to maintain her lifestyle after her baby daddy dies and his family takes everything.
Rosemary Zimu stars as Zoleka, a 30-year-old left on the verge of destitution.
This forces her to find other ways to keep her lavish life and to keep her son off the street.
Forced to take ownership of her life and to adapt or die, will Zoleka make it?
After all, there's only one way to go after hitting rock bottom... right?
With the first season originally set against the backdrop of the hip and creative Maboneng Precinct of Johannesburg, Ayeye: Stripped takes us into the world of the 1% (and those pretending to be the 1%), set in swanky Bryanston.
Ayeye: Stripped stars Rosemary Zimu as Zoleka, Moyà Maweni as Sandile, Zama Ngcobo as Nosmilo, Luthando Mthembu as Mbuso, Kealeboga Masango as Ntsiki, Awande Mondhlane as Vusi and Pabee Moganedi as Tumi.
Season 2 is an M-Net Original Production, produced for Mzansi Magic by Seriti Films.
The executive producers for Seriti are Thabang Moleya, Leanne Kumalo and Kutlwano Ditsele; with producer Janine Kuhn.
