Season 6
Bob's Burgers is an American animated television sitcom created by Loren Bouchard about a man, his family and their floundering burger joint which - despite the greasy counters, lousy location and occasionally shoddy service - leads Bob and his family to be convinced their burgers are their ticket to success.
The series follows a third-generation restaurateur, Bob (H. Jon Benjamin), as he runs Bob's Burgers with the help of his wife and their three kids.
Bob and his quirky family have big ideas about burgers, but fall short on service and sophistication. Despite the greasy counters, lousy location and a dearth of customers, Bob and his family are determined to make Bob's "grand re-re-re-opening" a success.
Even though business is slow, Bob gets to work with his family. His wife, Linda (John Roberts), supports Bob's dream through thick and thin (but truth be told, she's getting a little sick of the thin).
Their eldest daughter, Tina (Dan Mintz), is a 13-year-old hopeless romantic with minimal social skills. Middle child Gene (Eugene Mirman) is an aspiring musician and a prankster who serves up more jokes than burgers.
Their youngest, Louise (Kristen Schaal), is the most enthusiastic about her dad's business, but an off-balance sense of humour makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen.
Beyond the restaurant is a city rich with character. Right next door to Bob's is It's Your Funeral Home and Crematorium; down the street is Wonder Wharf, the oceanside amusement pier; and a few blocks away is Wagstaff Middle School, where Bob and Linda's kids go to school.
And across the street is Jimmy Pesto's Pizzeria, Bob's Burgers' main competition and the thorn in Bob's side.
Bob's Burgers is a 20th Century Fox Television production. The series was created by Loren Bouchard. Bouchard and Jim Dauterive serve as executive producers and writers.
