NAweek is a South African, Afrikaans-language lifestyle and magazine television series produced by Amor Engelbrecht for SABC3 which serves as a guide to weekend entertainment, with ideas and plans for weekends that include fun, adventure and new memories.
The idea is to take viewers out of their homes to fall in love with our country, cultures and people all over again.
The programme is aired on Saturday evenings and the presenters were chosen for their energy, so as to make the show exciting and vibrant. The presenters are:
Pulane Palmer (well known in theatres around the country)
Leandie du Randt (Egoli, the Movie, Semi-Soet, Klein Karoo & Strictly Come Dancing)
Sean-Marco Vorster (Die Windpomp)
Viljé Maritz (Binneland, Verraaiers)

Episode 1: 20 September, 2014
We will kick the show off introducing our presenters to the viewers. Then we catch up with Lood De Jager. Lood is a young up and coming Cheetahs rugby player, also chosen for the Springbok squad at the Four-Nations tournament. Vilje catches up with him in Bloemfontein where he currently lives and they do beat-boxing together.
Sean-Marco takes the viewers on a Graffiti tour of trendy Woodstock (like Jozi's Braamfontein) with hip-hop artist HemelBesem. Explore how graffiti is nowadays seen as a recognized art form. Local is Lekker and in this segment we will ask celebrities to show us the areas where they live. What in their neighborhood is not-to-be-missed?
Tonight we will get local celeb and Expresso presenter, Katlego Maboe to show us his favourite spots in Sea Point. To end off the show we will do a NAweek opskop in Cape Town. Find out how our presenters feel about working on the show.
Then it's over to food editor of Fresh Living magazine, Anke Roux, who shows us how to cook 5 star food quickly and easily using Pick n Pay produce.
Episode 2: 27 September, 2014
This week Stephanie visits a local airfield in Cape Town and talks to one of the pilots about Huey helicopters and their interesting stories. Don't miss singer Joshua na die Reen performing Naweek's theme song.
We get to visit the studio while they are busy recording. Joshua na die Reen recently won the Tempo and Ghoema awards for Best Newcomer.
Meanwhile on Pulane's visit to KZN she decides to check out para-ziplining, while Vilje visits young, up and coming Cheetahs and Springbok rugby player, Trevor Nyakane, in Bloemfontein.
Finally Vilje takes Strictly Come Dancing season 6's champion, Zakeeya Patel, on a breakfast run with the Harley Davidson club.
Episode 3: 4 October, 2014
By this stage the holidays have started and parents are looking for ideas to keep their kids busy. We will use contestants from The Little Big Cook Off which was aired on SABC3 and Vickie de Beer from Rooi Rose will make kid-friendly recipes with them.
We also visit comedian Kurt Schoonraad at home in Observatory and he chats about his love for vintage cars. Meanwhile Vilje finds out more about the public artworks in the JHB city centre. We also feature a beautiful property with the focus on the garden. We then replicate the greenhouse for the viewer at home.
Lastly Sean-Marco takes the viewers on the Fragrance Route in the Southern Cape near Groot Brak River. Here they stop at a variety of flower farms to learn more about specific flowers and smells.
