The 8th Annual SAFTA Awards took place at Gallagher Estate in Midrand on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April 2014; the second part aired live on SABC3 on Saturday at 20h00, preceded by the Red Carpet Special from 19h30. The special was two hours long.
